About

At Florida Atlantic's Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD), our mission is grounded in a clear and enduring commitment to support individuals with autism and related disabilities across the lifespan, along with their families and the professionals who support them. The needs we encounter are real, immediate, and often evolving, requiring both expertise and sustained resources. Florida Atlantic CARD serves as a trusted resource dedicated to providing consultation, training, and support that strengthens outcomes for those we serve. Through services such as individualized assistance, parent and caregiver training, professional development, mentoring initiatives, early childhood strategies, and transition-focused programming for adolescents and young adults, we aim to equip individuals and their support networks with the tools necessary to move forward and navigate complex systems.

As demand for services continues to grow, so does the importance of ensuring that these supports remain accessible and responsive. Many of the individuals and families we serve rely on Florida Atlantic CARD as a primary source of guidance, often at critical points in their lives. Our ability to meet this need depends not only on our expertise and commitment, but also on the generosity of those who recognize the value of this work. Philanthropic support plays a vital role in sustaining and expanding our efforts. Contributions to Florida Atlantic CARD directly support the development and delivery of services, the expansion of outreach initiatives, and the enhancement of programs that address emerging needs within our community. These investments allow us to reach more individuals, provide timely and effective support, and maintain the high standard of service that defines our work.

We approach this responsibility with care and intention, recognizing that every resource entrusted to us has a direct impact on the individuals and families we serve. Your support enables us to continue building programs that are not only responsive, but also forward-looking, ensuring that individuals with autism and related disabilities have access to the guidance and opportunities they need to pursue meaningful and fulfilling lives.

Thank you for your support of this important work.
