FAU Community Health Center: This fund supports the Florida Atlantic University Northwest Community Health Alliance Community Health Center, which offers a wide range of services, led by advanced practice nurses in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. We prioritize community, family, and person-centered care, and focus on the early detection of physical, mental, and chronic illnesses through health screenings. Our services are available to everyone, regardless of their insurance status. Your support will enable us to continue helping underserved communities.
Center for Advanced Nursing Simulation and Clinical Learning: An Advanced Nursing Simulation, Artificial Intelligence, and Clinical Learning laboratory at the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing in Boca Raton is aimed at training nurses to excel in a technologically advanced health care system. By immersing students in true-to-life clinical scenarios with artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and other advanced tools, the lab will enhance critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills, and improve patient outcomes. Funds raised will help prepare nurses for the rapidly evolving high-tech healthcare industry.
