Vocalis Takes Flight

Florida Atlantic’s Vocalis treble ensemble has been invited to present the European premiere of Michael McGlynn’s The Wind Among the Reeds at The LARK in Dublin in June 2025, under the direction of conductor and Florida Atlantic faculty and alumna (’97, ’01) Dr. Stacie Lee Rossow. In addition, Vocalis will have several concerts around the country during their residency in Ireland. The two-week tour will showcase over forty Florida Atlantic students and faculty members in over six concert events.

Students are actively fundraising to ensure all members can participate in this life-changing opportunity. However, we need the community's and others' support to meet our $120,000 goal.

Sponsorship levels are tailored to accommodate varying group sizes, with $4,000 covering the trip for one person and $8,000 for two, increasing accordingly. This is the first time a Florida Atlantic ensemble has been selected to perform in Europe in over twenty years and the first time an FAU faculty and alum will hold the baton.
